Venerable age blossoming

Though many suppose that agave specimens «postpone» their blossoming, waiting for the century «jubilee», the 80-year old agave is going to blossom soon in the University of Michigan. According to the manager of the university greenhouse the blossoming agave is so high, that the nursery garden’s workers will have to make a window in the roof in order to give more space to the giant plant.
