The country of flowers – Holland – holds a famous flower auction. It takes place near the capital, just 10 miles away from Amsterdam, and it is quite a spectacular event. Try to imagine 9 football fields – such an area is occupied by the flower exchange market. 84 % (!) of flowers from all over the world are gathered here, and just a thousand people operates the event.

All the shops are equipped with up-to-date electronics, and flowers undergo durability testing. The main distinction of the auction is the beginning of bidding with the highest price. And when the manager begins to lower the price, one should not miss the opportunity, since the one who agrees with the price, gets flowers.
