The Sunny Flower of California

Eschscholtzia or alternatively called California poppy is recognized as the official flower of California since 1903. This wild sunny orange flower can be found in all the fields and hills of the state. The especially beautiful blooming fields of California poppy can be seen in the Antelope Valley reservation. Numerous tourists visit this place to admire the bright colors of the California poppy and other prairie plants.
