At the end of April the dance of early flowering colors is enriched by one of the few early blooming tulips called Kaufmann’s tulip. This specie is represented by wide variety of sorts such as Shakespeare, Corona, Stresa, and Speranza. The end of April is heralded by the blooming of ornithogalum, which in the English-speaking countries is called the Star of Bethlehem. The ornithogalum, blooming at the same time the tulips do, successfully completes them in a bouquet with its white background.
