Rose Festival

Each year during the first week of June, in Turkey, Isparta, there is held a colorful flower festival (Carpet and Rose Festival Isparta), which is similar to the Festival of Roses in Bulgaria. The famous damask roses, which petals are used to produce the most valuable rose oil, are grown in this region of Turkey for centuries now.
