First World War flower antiquity

April 1, 2014

A unique historical antiquity was founded 40 years ago in Hampshire County during the renovation of a local citizen’s house. Each page of the tiny «memory diary» of a First World War soldier contained a flower, attached by melted sealing wax and accompanied with an inscription stating place and time of his stay. The soldier was likely to hope to return home after the war with such a priceless gift for his beloved one.
